Supply Chain and Logistics
Supply Chain Management & Business Process Improvement
Delivery of increased efficiencies and reduced costs are only a fraction of the benefits provided by optimizing supply chains. When a business strategy and supply chain are aligned, companies experience benefits that range from sustained, profitable growth to operational performance. AAI will partner with you to determine the root cause of your challenges and implement a tactical approach to achieving your organization’s directives. Our capabilities within the supply chain management area are Supply Chain Services and Strategy, Supplier Relationship Management, Sourcing and Procurement and Transportation and Logistics.
Supply Chain Services & Strategy
Supply chain strategy focuses on the operational components of the organization while the business strategy focuses on achieving the vision and mission of the organization. Many companies believe that having a business strategy is equivalent to a supply chain strategy; however, a separate supply chain strategy is needed. AAI assists companies with establishing or improving their supply chain strategy, supplier relationship management, sourcing & procurement, and logistics. Embedded in that assistance is a focus on continuous process improvements. Our supply chain strategy team helps executives create an explicit supply chain strategy that aligns with the overall business strategy. We take a comprehensive view of the supply chain, which allows us to find value by connecting suppliers to the business and to the customer. This approach allows the organization leadership to see the trade-offs and risks associated with various decisions.
Supplier Relationship Management
AAI works with clients to have a more collaborative and beneficial relationship with suppliers such that the organization is working with their suppliers to become more responsive to their needs. In addition, our teams work to create a dashboard that allows the organization and supplier to understand their performance. How an organization works with its suppliers has a major impact to how responsive an organization can be to its customers’ needs as well as its own. The goal of supplier relationship management programs are to ensure these interactions are as efficient as possible for both organizations.
Transportation & Logistics
Transportation and logistics costs are a key cost for clients providing goods to customers. Whether an organization is trying to assess the efficiency of the freight lanes being used, which type of shipping mode to utilize, or locations of the distribution centers, AAI can assist. We have established strategic partnerships to provide the actual shipping of products after the logistic solution has been determined and optimized. With shipping being provided by our partner, our clients can count on great service at reasonable rates. Our partner’s goal is to lower your overall shipping cost and provide the client with exceptional service while reducing the bottom line.
